Advancing Hydrogen Research Together: HERCHET – UTFORSK Seminar Successfully Held in Coimbatore

The Seminar on HERCHET – UTFORSK Project was successfully held on 25 June 2025 at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India, as a collaborative initiative between the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) and Indian academic partners. HERCHET, short for Higher Education and Research Collaboration on Hydrogen and Enabling Technologies, is funded under Norway’s UTFORSK programme, which promotes international collaboration in education and research. The seminar was organized under the leadership of Prof. Dhayalan Velauthapillai from HVL, a key figure in hydrogen energy research. The event brought together researchers, students, and industry professionals from both countries to exchange knowledge, showcase ongoing hydrogen-related projects, and strengthen partnerships in sustainable energy and technology development.
